I am so loving this time of year. The evenings are becoming cooler and running is not such a struggle as a result. I have also noticed walking round the place that already the leaves are gathering along the footpaths ready for the annual leaf stomp. The autumn colours too along with the fresh woody smells really give the place a romantic feel, a mood which I am trying to capture on camera but not having much luck. Infact I’m not getting the shots I want at all from my Nikon Coolpix 3100 lately. I am finding this to be a very good camera and during the early days found it to be more than enough for my needs. Now that I gaining experience I am starting to demand more from my camera and although I know it is still more than capable of achieving the shot I’m after, I’m still struggling. I hate to admit it but it looks like I’ve failed at being a proper bloke and will actually have to resort to reading the instructions for once.

I have lost out on the business trip to India next month What can I say, I am disappointed but the better man won in the end.
