Some of you will know that during the beginning of this year I tried to start up an online time capsule for the residents of Salisbury. After much effort to try and get it off the ground, including a letter or two to the local paper I sadly gave up on the idea. However I am still interested in producing a capsule but for myself. I’ve already got the container and have saved a couple of newspapers but the main bulk of whats going to go into it is still being planned. Once completed, the capsule will be buried on the allotment.

Incidently, whilst making the online time capsule earlier this year, I also had a section where people could email in letters, pictures etc and specify when they would like them emailed or posted back to them e.g. in 30 years time. Since then I have come across a number of sites which have recently started doing this too. Obviously I wasn’t the only one that thought it was a good idea. What a shame my ideas never take off.
