I have had the most exciting but absolutely exhausting day in a long time. Today I did a duty for St John Ambulance at the motocross just out of town. The track was a huge windy one with many steep jumps. As yours truely was literally stood just to the side of one of the largest jumps, the effect was amazing when thirty or so bikers came hurtling over the jump all at once and imediately became airbourne. It reminded me of that music video of Pink’s, the one she did for Charlie’s Angels. Unbelievable the height and distance they can cover when in the air which leads me to the conclusion that they’re all total nutters.

Got to see some real blood too, though not as much as one would expect at such a venue. Patched up my first proper casualty as well which I think has put a stop to the nerves.
