Last week I purchased a Gizmondo off eBay as an alternative to the expensive PSP which I can’t really afford at the moment. The Gizmondo not only is a great little games console but its also so much more. For starters its a phone with bluetooth capabilities, a camera, MP3 and movie player and its a GPS sat nav too, brilliant. More importantly its less than half the price of the PSP but the bad news is that they are no longer in production having gone bust last year, which means that games are limited. Theres about 25 out there at the moment including a rather interesting one which works with the GPS function but admittedly its the multimedia capabilities that appeal to me, the games are just a nice extra. I realise that there are other (more expensive) alternatives that offer similar capabilities but how nice would it be to have your whole photograph and music collection in your pocket? And if it means carrying a small games console round with you then so be it.

Is it just me but whenever I buy things off eBay, they never arrive when you hope they would? With any luck my new toy should arrive tomorrow.
