Get In

About Five years ago now, in an attempt to relive my childhood I got a little eBay happy one week and bought a few Spectrums to play about on. One in particular I was after, the Spectrum 48 with rubber keys took a while to get at a price I was prepared to pay but after investing a bit of time and patience I managed to aquire one. Every one of them now has been played on and now finally out of my system have been neatly packaged and is in storage waiting to the day when their value rockets Of course her indoors thinks differently, complaining they’re taking up valuable space. That was until this weekend.

This weekend we were browsing the shelves of an extremely popular bookshop in the town and came across the collectors section. On looking up my beloved Spectrum 48, it would appear it is now valued at four times the amount I originally paid for it. Nice.
