I watched the BBC’s Click programme today and they had an interesting feature on digital cameras and correcting and touching up photographs using various computer packages. They’re running a bit of competition to see who can a) correct as many mistakes as possible and b) see who can produce the most artistic effect from the photograph below.

I’ve only really started using Photoshop in the last year or so and have to admit I’m still learning new things with it. I decided to have a go at this challenge and found it really difficult, so hard infact that I decided to go for the most artistic approach instead and the resulting ’shopped effort is below.

Obviously its miminised to fit on this page but when viewed in its actual size its really not that bad. I did originally think about decapitating them (like the photo below of me from a previous post) but thought it best in the end not to go over board.
