Hold on lads, I’ve got a great idea!

First lets animate me having this great idea before putting on our slippers and shuffling down to Homebase for paint and strimmers. Yep, finally decided on a colour for the sheds, as its going to be my ‘escape from the missus’ in six months time, the colour had to be just right. I decided on a brick red in the end and they look pretty sexy because of it.

Can sheds look sexy? I’m not sure but if they could mine would, though I have to admit they still could do with a face lift if I want them to climb the sexy shed porn scale but with the recent lick of paint I am more than happy to see them come in at the Red Shoe Diary level - cheap looking, lots of hammering and buckets of dirt.

I quite like the idea of painting a design on them to jazz them up a bit more. Every year you can enter your plot to be judged in various areas. I admit I still have a long way to go in winning the largest pumpkin or rudest shaped carrot but nearly everyone scores poorly on design and looks as they mainly concerntrate on productivity - a chance to steal I think.

Ok, we’re on a roll, bring on the strimmer! This is the best thing since brick red paint, its allowing us to do so much work in such little time. Although we’ve still got a long way to go, we’re making good progress in getting the plot in order.
