Making It Out Alive

“I’m a Grantham lad born and bred. Strong in arm and thick in head.”

We’re back from our trip to gangland Grantham and managed to keep our alloys still on our car and resisted the urge to decorate our car with flags as it seems every other car Grantham has to have a couple of En-ger-lan flags flying alerting other flagless drivers and nearby pedestrians that theres a div approaching. Maybe they should take a ride through Edinburgh sometime. I remember when I used to live up there feeling very uneasy when the world cup was on.

Anyway back to the task in hand - the wedding. My little sister got married yesterday and the days activities went very well indeed once you got used to the rain and the language some of the guests were using. My nervous father actually surprised us all with a rather splendid speech - but lets face it with my sister he wasn’t stuck for things to say. Obviously I made plenty of notes on what to do and not do when organising a wedding which will come in very handing during the remaining 5 months. Suddenly my little sister isn’t so little anymore.

Since we’ve announced TWTB and myself are to marry soon, those oh so annoying “when are you two getting married then?” questions have finally stopped, now its “So when are you two going to have kids” - You just can’t win.
