I still keep in touch with a couple of friends from my old place of work and meet up with them on a monthly basis. Last month I was sitting out with Miss H discussing this and that and it wasn’t long before the topic turned to colleagues we used to work with and quickly dismissed an idea we had of a little get together as things like that very rarely take off. However, I decided to give it a go regardless and was mightily impressed by the response I got.

Anyway, it was crunch time last night and would you believe it everyone showed except one which was brilliant as I was worried about turn out and I really enjoyed catching up with them all again. There were instances where there were a few silences but after a short while the conversation flowed effortlessly and it was as if it were yesteday we were all sat around our desks working(ish) and joking together.
