It would appear that someone thinks that the Tom and Jerry cartoons are now inappropriate for children. Why I hear you ask. Well if you click here you will learn that its due to that someone thinking that it glamourises smoking and as a result the cartoons are going to be edited. I can’t believe that it wasn’t the fact that its one of the most violent cartoons around where Tom tries to kill Jerry in any way possible: by trying to eat him, set fire to him or hitting him with a frying pan in good old Reeves and Mortimer style, or the fact that the animals talk that this person finds disturbing but because theres a few scenes involving the odd cigarette its deemed unsuitable for kids.
