This weekend saw me gaining qualifications in using AED’s (defibs) and administering medical gasses to patients as part of my ongoing training with St. John Ambulance. All went extremely well and although feeling tired after two days of training, passed without any problems at all.
Good thing: I get to shout “Clear!” before I shock the patient.
Bad thing: They never leap up into the air like they’ve just been poked by a man with a stick from under the bed like you see on Casualty.
