Silent Night (I wish)

Finished work after a pretty hectic day. Middle management being on form yet again, if only Sputnik was around to cheer me up. Anyway, just enough time to make it home and cram emergency food down my neck before first aiding in the city centre for the highlight of Salisbury’s Christmas calendar. Don’t know what all the fuss is about really. A couple of wailing women on stage, a rather old moth eaten santa scaring the kids and a z-list celeb plus worthy child turning on the Christmas lights.

There was a supprisingly large turn out including every nutter under the sun. heres me thinking the City’s nutjobs only come out on market day, oh no it appears there come out at night too. Apart from the rather odd bloke who decided to latch onto our small group of first aiders, talking not to us but to himself constantly, the divs decided to throw stones from outside Debenhams which left us to patch up the folk with injured heads.

The grand finale was when they set off the fire works off the top of the Guildhall roof and due to the breeze, resulted in burning debris falling into the crowd.

You’re right about the makeup of the crowd - most frightful lot of chavs I’ve seen in a long while.
