Since my last entry I have introduced the inlaws to the wonders of Geocaching where we nearly lost granny down a hillside and taken a trip to the panto where we saw her from casualty and that one from The Bill and that bloody irritating Crazy Frog that I’m still struggling to work out what part of the story of Snow White he actually played.
We left the safety of the south yesterday and ventured up north to the ganglands where I’m attempting to bring my parents up to speed with the digital camera I bought them for Christmas whilst explaining why I find dial up so irrating. Also playing with my little niece’s present of a marble run which I’ve been itching to open and play with since we bought it a month a go.

Maybe I could buy a pack every year and just keep building on it making one truly massive one, imagine that!
Although still managing to keep up the fitness thing during this time of mass consumption, I’ve put on weight which I put down to too many chocolates and too much crap TV. Still no fear of a TV marathon up here as my folks are dead against the magic box which I put down to me when I was a kid. I admit I used to watch it a little bit too much, so much so that in order to put a stop to my addiction my parents would cut the plug off it only to have it re-applied a few days later when they made me their slave for a while. This happened so regularly that the wire kept getting shorter by the month and the TV had to be moved closer to the socket each time! One good thing come out of it I guess. I don’t know many 8 year old kids that could sniff out a hidden plug and rewire it successfully.
