As I thought yesterday, I needed another run this morning in preparation for all the food I was about to eat later on. I always run on the big day as the streets and roads are completely empty and truth be known to also give myself some time alone before the onslaught of family later on in the day. Plenty of dog walkers out with me too which would explain the turd dodging a plenty I had to do. At one point I could have sworn a sleigh was responsible for smearing one halfway up the road judging by the tracks it left. I had visions of Santa’s little helpers hosing the splatter marks down whilst Santa puts his feet up after a hard night’s work.

My main present is still yet to come in the form one hopes of one of these. I’ll call and collect in a few days time when we venture up north to visit the ganglands but dropped a line to my folks anyway today to wish them Happy Christmas only to have dad thank me for his present which I never gave him as its still in my bag here. Should I start to worry now or later?

Today however wasn’t without its rewards. I was very fortunate enough to receive a number of very nice gifts including the Warranty Voider I’ve been wanting for a while now.

Its now evening and I’m having a few minutes out while I digest the huge feast I helped consume. My end of the table were extremely sneaky in avoiding the sprouts and yours truely decided to take a hit for the side and now am venting gas like the four legged one!
