Today I assisted with a duty for St John Ambulance at one of the local race courses. Whenever I’m on this duty the weather is usually absolutely terrible but this time round the sun decided to shine for a few minutes at least. The day passed with no major casualties which I suppose is a good thing, it just meant one sat in the ambulance listening to the radio rather a lot.
