Nintendo Flash Drive

It is a day of tinkering isn’t it, its what weekends are all about. Below is a photograph of my latest creation - a 2 gig Nintendo controller flash drive.

I had originally planned to house a USB hub inside it, that way as space ran out on one flash stick, you could just wack another one in. Unfortunately its not as easy as its sounds as I’ll have to cut out a lot of the insides to make room. At the moment I’m happy with just the one flash memory stick inside.

Hey, do you have a dremel or similar multitool? Focus DIY sell a cheapo one with loads of stuff for £14.99. I have one and it works ok, it would be ideal for cutting out the plastic bits.

My friend Jez’s latest project is very cool: a 2GB flash drive built into a Nintendo NES controller (pic here).
