There was no wind this morning making it idea flying conditions for the plane. Unfortunately by the time we got our act together the weather had changed and it was quite blowy at times. Still, we ventured out anyway, plane in hand. Now this little plane of mine hasn’t had much in the way of luck since I bought it 5 years ago, it hasn’t really recovered from the big smash up at Arthur’s Seat in Edinburgh when I tried to fly it in near gale force winds. Now patched together with tape and glue it still has a bash at flying straight and nearly achieves it at times.

After a few quick runs in the park two observations were made. 1 - I’m rubbish at landing the thing and as a result have added more tape to the cockpit and 2 - the wifes better at flying the thing than I am and we all know how annoying that can be at times.
Still, as my second plane is very near completion I will be on the hunt for more motors and radio gear, however I’m guessing after a couple more runs this old plane of mine will be giving its parts up for donation.
