My recent idea of hoaxing a ufo sighting over Salisbury took a tiny step forward as the balloon kit recently received was assembled. First impressions were a lot better than expected. Due to its size it can certainly create quite a bit of lift and is more than able to accommodate a small lightweight meths burner underneath. The clip below is just using a small hair dryer to inflate it.

I think I’m really going to have issues though directing this thing with the use of fans and one is left thinking whether a return to the drawing board is in order. I guess you can’t be expected to get it right first time.
