I’ve finally finished Jpod by Douglas Coupland and although it took me a while to get used to the style of writing, I actually really enjoyed it and found it rather amusing too. Putting it back on the shelf, half a ton of receipts and other pieces of paper fell out time stamping the places I reached within the book (it has been a while looking back, my readings really slowed down for some reason - it seems that working in the centre of town these days offers too many distractions compared with my previous job where one would hide in a book to avoid talking to people about modems and telephony). Maybe the receipts would make a valued addition to the scrapbook.
