Cycling home recently I noticed that they’ve started knocking down the old swimming pool here in Salisbury. It would appear that one wall has been temporarily spared the wrecking ball. I stopped to take a photograph as I think the tiled mosaic is a rather interesting one. I’m still trying to work out whether the deep end wall resembles a nuclear bomb’s mushroom cloud or trees. Either or, don’t you think its a strange design to have around a pool?

I also tried to spot a discarded “No Heavy Petting” or “No Bombing” sign you used to see as a kid when you took swimming lessons but with little success.
