This little book was found on the shelves of our local Oxfam bookshop. Its a graphical biography of Brunel and its a rather quirky little thing to read.

The bit I’m liking so far is the introduction, explaining how when museums first displayed a cut out of IKB they didn’t include his cigar thinking it would encourage kids to start smoking. For the purpose of the book however the cigar has been included but it then goes into a comical explaination about how smoking is neither big or clever.
