Paintballing and Car Mechanics

This morning we were up at the crack of dawn to venture to a piece of woodland just outside of town. Here a cheap paintballing centre had been set up and a group of us were going to try it out in honor of a mates birthday. I was jolly good fun and I came away not having that many bruises from the battles. The wife was on the opposite team which was a bonus too and it was soon discovered that the hours played shooting Nazis on the Wii soon payed off as I put my sniper skills into action, tracking down the Piney and shooting from the hip.

The last time I had been paintballing was in 2006 only just living to tell the tale. I blogged about it here.

On returning home it was discovered that the Rocket (the latest four wheeled addition to the household) had a few wheel issues and not having tinkered with a car much, was rather daunted by the fact I would have to take a bold step into the unknown. Luckily taking wheels off isn’t as difficult as first thought, its putting them back on correctly one should really worry about as I had visions of stopping at the lights only to find one of the rear wheels overtaking me. This is something a Whitworth bodge can’t really solve as things have to be done properly - I got there in the end though and feeling rather proud of the fact.
