My new fold up bike arrive yesterday and I wasted no time in assembling it once I got home. I originally started looking round for a Brompton but was quickly put off by the price. Even the ‘fake’ Bromptons are a lot of money. Never fear, eBay is here. £44 later and I’m now mobile. I opted for the biggest wheel size there was only through fear of looking like an idiot riding a clown’s bike. It still folds up nicely though and will fit in the car with ease.

The thing that made me chuckle through were the warnings in the badly translated manual that came with it. I particularly like the one about no riding in areas of chaos.

Sadly it’ll be a long ride to Graz this weekend if I took the new bike, so I best stick with the big metal bird instead. Photos to be posted once I return.
