Its that time of year again when those who are in desparate need of a good wash, come out of the woodwork and sit around a bunch of old stones. Click here to see how I spent it in 2007 and click here for 2006. Lately due to one reason or another I have been taking a break from first aiding but am looking to join the new St Johns Ambulance division shortly, so this year I’m volunteering my time to the National Trust along with the Pine Martin. I’m not sure what it will involve but seeing as though the Trust owns the surrounding land around Stonehenge, it’ll probably involve patrolling the woodland in a landrover whilst on camp fire watch. I will let you know how it goes.
Another thing to add to my ever increasing list of Solstice hates is that now we live out in the country, just down from the stones already the camper vans and hippy wagons are taking up camp on the road sides around my village. To top it all off, they’re closing the majority of the roads this weekend and Monday too making it a little bit of a pain to get around.
At least its going to rain, giving them all a jolly good wash!
