Creating The perfect Fish Supper

Yesterday I was very fortunate enough to take a trip out on the boss’ boat to do a spot of sea fishing off the coast of Weymouth.

First of all one needs to make it out of the marina. Weymouth has a rather impressive bridge which basically prevents the larger ships from passing in or out and one must wait their turn in order to be allowed to pass under it. Its a big old thing, one which would do the Guild of Legendary Engineers proud and I’m keen to to a bit of investigation with regards to it’s history. A Rather nice panoramic of it can be found here of it.

Once out, leg it in the direction of fish. It helps if you have various gadgetry on board to help locate the fish. Personally I thought the radar screens looked a little like the Gameboy classic Hunt for Red October but thankfully someone was able to work out what the blips meant.

Cast out and wait and wait and wait and wait some more before trying not to return the tuna which was in you sandwich at lunch, to the sea from which it came. Luckily I just managed to keep it all down.

Anyway, return home telling stories about the one that got away whilst showing off the ones that didn’t.

Gut them (whilst trying to keep the same tuna fish sandwich down), prepare and wrap in foil.

Slap them on the BBQ for all to enjoy whilst again highlighting the disappointment about the one that got away.
