I now have a couple of compact infra red camera and have been wanting to put them to good use. This afternoon I took to the workshop with the intention of installing them into a bird box. As I would probably be waiting a while for birds to start nesting I decided to put up a bird feeder too which I could film, hopefully giving me instant results.

Both cameras are fed into a television via a scart multisocket. This allows me to switch between each camera. Have a watch of the video and you will see that after just a few minutes garden visitors come a calling.
