Since our new stove arrived last week its about time the old one moved out along with its ugly looking hearth. One quick trip to the local DIY store saw us return with goggles and hammer and it wasn’t long before we got stuck in.

It took a bit of welly but progress was soon made as concrete crumbled under ginger might and its amazing how relaxed one feels after a session on the old hammer. Picturing the car of my arch enemy allowed me to find my inner strength and ensured that the fate of 1950’s bad design was sealed.
