When we moved in to this new house of ours last summer and I got the workshop arranged and organised, into it I stored a small collection of my paintings with the intention of digging them out when there were places to hang them indoors.

I am in the process of putting together a portfolio of my work and ventured into the workshop this evening with my camera to get some really good shots of them only to find that they’ve suffered really badly from water damage over the winter months and I’m really annoyed.

Its not the cost spent on producing them, I take some pride in making art out of inexpensive materials, its more the time I invested in them and the enjoyment and excitement experienced when they were completed and shown off. Now I’m just disappointed and annoyed by the fact that I should have looked after them better. Lesson learnt.
