I decided to stick with the Darwin theme from my last post when I started thinking about this week’s Illustration Friday titled Hierarchy. This is just a very small section of Darwin’s Tree of Life, the very bottom in fact - where it all began.

I love this. Darwin’s “I think” tree of life. I just finished studying protists and fungi.
Wouldn’t it be something if he was still alive and could see how science has progressed, especially with genome sequencing. How satisfying it would be for him.

Simple idea but clever!
