Myself, Fi and our good friend Nic made an earlier start and headed to Bristol to attempt to get into the Banksy exhibition which everyone seems to be talking about lately. We made it there late morning only to be greeted by a queue which seemed to snake round the whole city. Like when you queue for rides at a theme park, this line had markers telling you how long you’ll have to wait - we eventually found the end of the line after the two and a half marker.
Luckily, waiting in queues is what us Brits love to do best though after a short while hunger got the better of us and we dropped out and instead when to explore. A little disappointing but I’m sure they’ll be other opportunities to vistit the exhibition. I caught sight of one of his pieces whilst walking back down the hill, so all was not lost.
As always the camera came along for the ride and I wanted to get some different shots to the usual ‘tourist’ type photographs I take whenever I visit somewhere new. Here are a few. Note the new hat in the last couple which I picked up at a craft stall in one of Bristol’s markets. I like it a lot.
