My zine of lunchtime sketches and doodles is ready for the off. Triumph #2 not only includes a fully readable title on the cover (unlike #1) but it contains a varied collection of sketches: some from the blog, some submitted to Illustration Friday and some that just popped into my head having overheard a conversation in the street.

I have been sketching in notebooks for years now but for some reason as I begin to give my work more thought and get more involved with online communities, I’m just beginninig to appreciate the value of recording your life in sketch form. I now find myself more aware of my surroundings, concerntrating on the little things that most miss and taking a different view on my walk through town when once it was viewed as a waste of time whilst I travelled from A to B, now becomes a wealth of material and amusement.

Take time out yourself just to soak it all in and I guarantee you won’t be disappointed.
