I have spent a really enjoyable day with Charlie and his mum. They have to spend a couple of nights on the ward so I had to take a trip out to see them and in doing so getting annoyed at seeing that the road works that held us up when we had to move it the other night were gone. Not to worry though, it just got me there quicker today.
Because pethidine was used during labour, the little man has been a little groggy for most of the day but towards the end of the afternoon he started waking up and soon found his lungs. IIts amazing how quickly they change, I’m so glad I managed to snap a couple of photographs when Charlie was an hour old.
Hopefully everyone can come home tomorrow and we can enjoy being a family in our little house in the country.

Hes pretty advanced for his age you know…and the babys quite clever too.
