The Moleskine Last Week

I’m catching up on posts in between feeds. This is one which was written last week after an unexpected find in the city centre…

They have finally changed the exhibit in the local art gallery. I never took to the last lot of paintings, I recall one in particular of a lady by a window holding a wine glass. The perspective was all wrong and seeing as though it was the largest painting in the room it was really obvious. What made it worse was that every day there would be one of the artists sat at a table in the corner, a sort of ‘meet and greet’ affair. being sat there all day made them crave any form of interaction with the public but it was just so off putting and as a result the room was always empty of visitors.

The room now contains photographs and paintings of local artists and I must say the standard is extremely high. Sadly the room still remains empty but I can relax on the sofa in the centre in the room without being disturbed. Anyone that does enter the room, does so in order to get to the computer room quicker and they don’t even take a moment to look up as they pass. Very sad.
