Last week I picked up some felt samples whilst hunting for large feathers in the local fabric store. Sadly the feather wasn’t for me, more for Charlie’s amusement as we found whilst visiting other feathered friends that he responds well to tickles.

Anyway, I am now the owner of a series of samples in varying colours of greens and browns and would love to put my new found tailoring skills to good use and make the boy a lasting toy. I am now searching the online world for patterns for simple, yet original looking stuffed toys.
