Theres been a steady flow of zines through my letter box from all round the world for quite some time now but every now and again a little gem lands on the door mat out of the blue. Today was one of those days and the zine I’m talking about is a little zine by Edd Baldry titled An Alphabet of London. It also arrived in a rather cute little decorated brown envelope too - I love it when people take the time to add the personal touch to packaging.

Described as “an A to Z of people I’ve met in the streets of London” this little zine comprises of illustrations representing each letter of the alphabet. I particularly like ‘K’ (the knitter) and ‘Z’ (the zinester). Its not until you reach them end that you realise that all these little images used to make up one big screenprint produced whilst the artist was at college.
