My inbox filled up so quickly thanks to some really kind and helpful Twitter folk, I’m so so grateful for all their help in getting this notebook project noticed. I can confirm that the first wave of books are away after getting stranded in a queue a mile long at the Post Office this afternoon and I’m very pleased to say they’ll shortly be landing all round the globe to be completed by friendly and creative individuals. Theres still some available so drop me a line if you would like to take part.

They’re really easy to make and I love making them from scap materials. All you need is some card and a couple of sheets of paper. First cut the card into a single strip and likewise with the paper, this needs to be cut into squares which are a little shorter than the width of the card and about a third of the length.

Next fold the strip of card as shown below into the familiar matchbook shape, insert the paper squares and fasten with a single staple at the bottom. There you have it, simple!

That’s cool !
You’ve got to have teeny tiny fingers to make them though.
Bring me one in.
