I always come across old machinery abandoned on the edges of fields and woodland when out running but I never really took the time to look at them closely until now. I’m always thinking about the next photographic project so I might take the opportunity to photograph these rusty machines as and when I find them.

I’m left thinking at what point does a farmer drive his tractor into a hedge and decide to leave it there?
