Look What I Found

As I was cycling to work the other day I noticed that someone had thrown out a rather nice carrom board. I remember how I loved playing this game at a house party a few years ago but was put off from buying one myself as a decent board is quite expensive.

I decided that should it be there when I finish work then I will fish it out of the rubbish and take it home. As luck would have it, it was still there and I really struggled to carry it whilst riding my fold up bike but I managed it and now my arms are hurting as it’s a little on the big and heavy side.

Christmas 2011

This Christmas we are spending it with my parents in Grantham.

Fuelled by chocolate and excitement, Charlie ventures down to open his presents - his main one being a scooter that he’s been after for a while now. He is so excited by it all this year, it’s really nice to see.

Forever Yours

There’s a rather nice chap called Alex day who makes music and videos. He’s on a mission to become the first unsigned artist to get to number 1 at Christmas with his song Forever Yours and I think I might just do it.

The last time I looked he was at number 4 in the charts as his followers (including myself) got behind him and bought the single. I’ve learnt a great deal about how the charts work since following this topic.

Charlie’s Got The Giggles

I was going through some old recordings and found that I had taken a few of Charlie laughing at various stages in his early life. Have a listen.

The League of Evilness - The Final Newsletter

Well the year is nearly at an end and so is my project to try something completely different by drawing a comic. I have learnt a huge amount since starting this journey and I am really looking forward to what next year brings. My last newsletter has been sent out spreading the news that my League of Evilness project is nearing completion and that I’ll be sending a copy to all my subscribers who gave me the push I needed to stay on track and see this comic through to the end.

Subscriptions are now closed unfortunately but you can always email me at jez.whitworth [at] hotmail.co.uk if you would like a copy.

Google Street View

This summer whilst enjoying the sun on Bournemouth pier a Google bike sped past and we were snapped. It’s taken this long for them to upload it. Unfortunately after this particular photograph was taken I started playing up the camera but they obviously didn’t include those. still cool to be included though.

Why not explore Bournemouth pier yourself in Google’s street View and come  and fine us enjoying a family day out at the beach.
